The photo below shows Captain James Fachtmann at the helm of a recently sold Fountaine Pajot MY37 during the 2016 Fountaine Pajot Bimini photo shoot with Fountaine Pajot’s French film crew. James can be seen working with the film crew while organizing and instructing the crews of the Saba 50, Helia 44, and the Lucia 40 to line up for the filming via his handheld VHF radio. The filming was great fun and a huge success.
James taught the proud owner, Todd, how to use his brand new FMY37 while delivering it from the St. Petersburg charter base to the filming location in the Bahamas. James and I had the pleasure of bringing the MY37 back across the Gulf Stream in high seas just in time for the 2016 Miami Boat Show. This 37′ power cat could fly, and she handled the heavy seas just as she and her sailing sisters were designed to, with safety and performance at sea.
